Dear User,
myvem is a service offered by VEM SISTEMI SPA (hereafter "VEM", based in Via degli Scavi 36, 47122 Forlì, Email privacy@vem.com) which, as the data controller, has created a web portal and a mobile application to allow the operator to use the services made available by the VEM itself, such as alarms, monitor.map and open / manage tickets. The use of myvem implies, or may involve, the processing of personal data of the user, as well as the processing of personal data of third parties that may be involved in the use of the service. For this reason, also in order to comply with the legislation on the protection of personal data (referred to in EU Regulation 679/2016, hereinafter "Regulations"), VEM deems appropriate to provide you with the following information, also to allow you to evaluate at the better, and knowingly, whether to use the service and, in this case, how to manage the personal information that will flow into the same with the activation of the account and with the use you will make of it.

  1. Purposes, data processed, methods of processing and its legal basis.

    The use of myvem, which involves an exclusively automated treatment of personal data contained therein, allows you to use the services of alarm, monitor map and opening / management of tickets and also involves the processing of personal data related to individual access to account as well as the request for assistance, which will be provided as a result of the inclusion of individual tickets to the data controller.

    The use of myvem service, therefore, allows you to enter personal data that concerns you or that concerns other people with reference to what is indicated in the previous paragraph.

    The processing of data that you insert, where they concern your person, is therefore based on your personal consent (consent that you will release both at the time of first access and, implicitly, with the input of data necessary for the management of services made available) , without prejudice to the right to exercise, with respect to such data, the request for cancellation or, in any case, the rights of the data subject provided for in Chapter III of the Rules.

    The data will be processed indefinitely, even after the revocation of the access authorization, because their processing is done on the basis of your express consent. Obviously the right to independently proceed with the deletion of the data entered or, after the revocation of your users, to ask VEM for such cancellation remains.

    The data will be stored at the headquarters of the data controller where they are processed only by authorized personnel, or by any persons responsible or designated for occasional maintenance operations.

  2. Nature of the provision of data and consequences in case of refusal to provide them.

    The installation and access to the myvem service are absolutely optional, just as its use and its use are optional, with the consequence that it is your free choice to allow the processing of your data.

    The exercise of this freedom will take place, first, with the activation of the account, and then with the provision of consent to the processing of data, then, subsequently, from time to time, with the insertion of data aimed at using the functions of the service.

    This freedom allows you, therefore, both to not activate the account, and to use it by limiting yourself to reading the information entered by others, without actively operating by entering your personal information.

    In any case, the use of the service, in one (passive use), or in the other mode (active fruition), depends on your free choice, on which neither the data controller nor the other users have interest or the right to intervene.

  3. Communication and dissemination of data.

    The personal data that VEM handles will not be disseminated under any circumstances.

    The data themselves, however, will be shared with the other users of the service which, however, are limited to the employees and / or collaborators of the data controller and your company.

  4. Rights of the interested party and Data Protection Officer.

    Obviously, also in relation to what is imposed by Chapter III of the Regulations, VEM recognizes you different rights, all aimed at ensuring your privacy, both as a user of the service and as an interested party whose personal information is entered by other users.

    For this you can, at any time:

    • obtain confirmation of the existence, or not, of personal data concerning you and their communication in an intelligible form;
    • to obtain the communication of the origin of personal data or the communication of the purposes, the methods of treatment and the logic applied;
    • obtain the communication of the subjects or categories of subjects to whom the personal data may be communicated or who may become aware of it, as well as the scope of dissemination of the data processed;
    • obtain the rectification or, when you are interested, the integration of the data;
    • obtain data deletion or limitation of processing in the cases provided for in articles 17 and 18 of Regulation 2016/679
    • oppose the processing of personal data concerning you in the cases provided for by the Regulations or, in any case, oppose the processing of personal data for direct marketing purposes, as well as for data profiling;
    • revoke the consent given

    VEM also reminds you that you can at any time also propose a complaint to the Data Protection Authority, for whose presentation method you can refer to the website http://www.garanteprivacy.it/home_en/duties

    The rights granted to the interested party may be exercised by contacting directly the VEM at the address indicated above or the Data Protection Officer (DPO) appointed by the same person who can be contacted, also for any other matter concerning the processing of data from VEM, to the e-mail address dpoprivacy@vem.com.
